This is not in our ward but is very well used by lots of Weetwood residents so we thought we'd share the latest. For those who don't know; there's an excellent route from Woodhouse Ridge to Hyde Park corner that saves walkers a lot of time. However, the segment from the ridge to Cumberland Road is currently blocked. That's because the wall has become unsafe. For the first time the Santa Dash is coming to Headingley. The 3k run ties into the Kevin Sinfield 7 in 7 challenge. It starts at Leeds Beckett University and finishes at the stadium. Thankfully this means it's a downhill route, which Izaak is grateful for as he has just signed up. The dash starts at 2 on Sunday 7 December.
