Here's the latest weekly update on Lawnswood construction works. By the way, the numbered areas referred to can be seen on the birds eye image in the post:
"Our apologies for there being no update last week, due to staff leave. Our progress over the last fortnight is detailed below.

In area 9C (outside Weetwood Hall) we have been tarmacking the footpaths – fortunately this was able to go ahead despite the hot weather, and we have been able to keep works on track.
We are installing the binder course here (mid layer to provide strength and durability) and
working on manhole 9.
In phase 4 (outside Lawnswood School) drainage and ducting works are ongoing and we are
preparing for laying the kerbs.
In Phase 7 (by the Police station / sub-station) we are removing existing kerbs and preparing to lay the new ones. Yorkshire Water have completed their diversion works here. We are installing ducting and gulleys at pace and works are progressing well.
In phase 6 Yorkshire Water have completed their diversion works as well. This means we can
commence our works in this area shortly, whilst liaising with residents to minimise disruption.
In phase 9b the old bus shelter has been dismantled & removed. This is great news and will
allow us to progress our works in this area.
In phase 1 drainage works are progressing and the manhole in this area has been installed.
Feedback
There have been some queries about adding merge in turn signs to the other legs of the
roundabout. Unfortunately, there is not enough room on the carriageways for the zip method to be signposted appropriately. There will be no permanent merge in turn signage.
Thank you to everyone who continues to take care around the roundabout while works are in progress."
