Local priorities
We work with you on lots of ideas. These are the three projects that we've spent the most time on over the last year.
Cost of living support
A lot of people in our area are struggling at the moment. We need a change of government to really change this, but there's still a lot we can do by pulling together as a community. We've made it a priority to use our funding and time to support local community groups who help people with the cost of living.
Better local transport
We all love living here but the transport situation needs to be improved. Road safety, more transport options, and less congestion are all priorities for us. We've spent a lot of our time making sure that consultation is done well, lobbying for better bus services, and winning funding to make residential roads safer.

A safer Otley Run
This famous pub crawl is a long standing tradition that brings joy to lots of people. But since lockdown it has brought new anti-social behaviour challenges for local residents and businesses. We've worked with other local councillors, our MP, pubs, and the police to find solutions including new prohibitions in the area.
