Be a volunteer reading helper for a primary school

We've heard from the Coram Beanstalk charity who are recruiting volunteer Reading Helpers for primary schools in the Leeds area.

Having volunteers from the local community makes a huge difference to children’s confidence and progress with reading.

About the volunteer role

• Support primary-aged children with their reading

• Commit around one afternoon per week during term time

• Receive full training, DBS checks, and ongoing support from Coram Beanstalk

Volunteers don’t need teaching experience, just time, patience, and a love of reading.
