Labour Mayor of West Tracy Brabin, working with Leeds Councillors, has secured funding from the government and investment from First Bus to introduce a new fleet of electric buses and this is now being rolled out.
This means our nearest depot at Bramley has the largest fleet of electric buses in West Yorkshire.
A fleet of 57 all-electric buses is beginning to appear on the network in Leeds and due to be completed by the end of March.
This will save on CO2 emissions and improve air quality across Leeds.
