This week's Lawnswood roundabout update

Here's the latest update from the team. Do take a look at the previous update for a map of the 'phasing areas' referenced below:

"In area 9C (outside Weetwood Hall) installation of the lighting columns has commenced.

In phase 4 (outside Lawnswood School) we are continuing with kerbing, and lighting columns are also being installed in this area. The redundant gas installations have been removed so works can continue.

In Phase 7 (by the Police station / sub-station) tree roots have been removed and works will commence here shortly. A pedestrian diversion is in place which we understand may be inconvenient but provides indications of safe crossing areas. Lighting column works have also commenced here.

In phase 6 we have commenced works, starting with milling out the old kerbs. The footway remains open at present, and we are liaising with residents to minimise disruption."
