Taylor's sports bar - planning application

You may have seen the retrospective planning application in respect of Taylor's Sports Bar. If not, you can view it - just search 26/00044/FU on the Public Access website.

We wanted to let you know, that as the Weetwood Ward councillors, we have requested that the planning application is sent to Plans Panel.

This means the application will be heard in a public meeting and determination will not be made by planning officers. We will attend the public Plans Panel meeting. 

We are also submitting an objection to the change of use in light of its context in the Otley Run. We'll share more on this next week.

As the deadline for comments is 20 March, we do not know as yet which panel  meeting the  application will be heard at. Please note that the plans panel cannot discuss Taylor's licence, it will be discussing the change of use from restaurant to bar. 

As soon as we have  the date of the panel meeting, we will circulate this.
