New Skate Park opens!

Sunday saw the first event at the newly resurfaced skate park in Becketts Park.
As Weetwood ward councillors, we have helped to fund the resurfacing - and its open in time for the summer holidays.
On Sunday we saw the first event - a meet up of skateboarders, roller skaters and Road Block sound system providing the music!
It was a fantastic afternoon with great weather and everyone the fabulously smooth skating surface - we're looking forward to more events and lots of people using the skate park over the summer.
