Upcoming night works

As the project reaches its final stages, we need to carry out a series of carriageway preparation and resurfacing works around the roundabout and on all four approaches. These works will take place throughout August and into early September, and the majority of these works will be undertaken during nighttime working hours.

When will the works take place – quadrant works

From Monday 3 August, overnight road closures will be in place between 7pm and 6am,

Monday to Friday, for up to four weeks. The works will move around the junction in phases, with each approach affected in turn, for our teams to prepare the road surface ahead of final

resurfacing.

The exact phasing will be notified to residents directly affected, closer to the works beginning.

This means that if you live close to the roundabout you will receive further information towards the end of July.

Final surfacing works

From Tuesday 1 September the roundabout will be completely closed for final surfacing works.

This is scheduled to last 4 nights, plus a 36 hour closure the following weekend (Saturday 5th).

Details will be confirmed to residents directly by the roundabout nearer to the time.

Diversion routes

Signed diversions will be in place when sections are closed, and for the full closure in September.
