Bentley Lane Primary
As you may know, Bentley Lane Primary has been vacant for some years. The council is obliged to keep hold of old school sites for a set number of years in case a need for it re-arises. This term is now up and the council is looking to sell it.
It will go up for auction in December. You can find more info and the link to the site listing on the auctioneer's site here.
We’d like to see this very nice site given a new lease of life and redeveloped sensitively. Ultimately of course, the buyer will decide what they want to do, but they will have to get Planning permission.
So our focus will be:
Keeping you updated with news about the site.
Helping you take part in any planning application.
Sharing the advert for the property across our community.
Hopefully someone locally will have a great vision for it! On that note, if you think anyone will be interested please do share this with them.
