Street surgeries for the autumn

We run street surgeries throughout the year. Not everyone wants to come and visit us at our drop in surgeries, and it can help to speak to people at their door.

The way it works is that we send a letter in advance saying when we'll be there, and ask people to put the letter in their window if they'd like us to drop by.

If we get time we also knock on the other doors for a general catch up.

It works really well and we've had some important outcomes from these visits, from picking up on the need for a pavement to be resurfaced to finding people in some quite desperate circumstances who need personal help.
