Progress towards a new skate park

Beckett Park is an absolute gem. The local volunteers who help make it so with their time and imagination are fantastic.

One sub-group of those volunteers has been working on an exciting plan to re-build the Beckett Park skate park, which is... not what it should be.

We very much support the project and have secured subsantial funding to make it possible. It'll go nicely with the refurbished tennis courts!

Their vision for it is exciting, it could become a really significant skate park. Please check out the project website for more info - it's very much a community project, so get involved if you're interested.
