Leeds Santa Dash in Headingley - 7th December

For the first time the Santa Dash is coming to Headingley. The 3k run ties into the Kevin Sinfield 7 in 7 challenge. It starts at Leeds Beckett University and finishes at the stadium. Thankfully this means it's a downhill route, which Izaak is grateful for as he has just signed up.

The dash starts at 2 on Sunday 7 December. There will be road closures as follows:

• Road closures around the start at Church Wood Avenue will be implemented from 13:15 on the afternoon of the event and will re-open for 14:30

• Road closures around the finish at St Michael’s Lane will be implemented from 13:15 and will re-open at 15:00

• Closures on the rest of the route including: Otley Road, Headingley Lane, North Lane, Cardigan Road and Bainbrigge Road will be installed from 13:15 and will be taken off for 15:00

• All closures will be re-open on a rolling basis. For more information on the road closures and re-opening times as well as diversion routes to plan ahead please see the interactive road closure map here
