Leeds celebrates turning 400

Monday 13 July saw the 400th anniversary of Leeds receiving the Royal Charter from King Charles 1 - and the weekend saw lots of celebrations!
The Charter laid the foundations for Leeds' journey towards self-governance and the city we are today.
We attended the service at Leeds Minster on Sunday with hundreds of people and famous faces from around the city.
The Bridge Ensemble, Leeds Festival Chorus and Leeds Philharmonic Chorus provided the music and even sang the Leeds United anthem Marching On Together.
