Amazing events at the Welcome In

We're so lucky to have this great community centre and cafe in our ward at 55 Bedford Drive. We have many surgeries and community meetings there. And we're pleased to share some events they have planned for the public.

On the 20th of November first up, 'Inn and Out at the Top with Neil Hanson' which promises to be a hilarious talk about life in Britain's highest inn back in the 1970s and 80s - an appropriate topic to be hosted by former pub the Welcome In!

And then on the 26th November a talk about ancient beauty gardens in Persia. These and other events in the series of talks are listed on their new website, and you can book FREE tickets there too.

A range of speakers will be coming and covering all sorts of interesting topics, such as Astronomy, Art, History, Music, Health and wellbeing and even a Netflix special effect artist who worked on the Grammy award winning "Adolescence" and BBC "Riot Women". PLUS the UK's first female Rocket Scientist, Margaret Bending!  

And early notice, their Christmas Fayre is on 6th December from 11am to 2pm. See you there!
