Last Friday we attended the Creative for Climate Justice Art Exhibition at Leeds City Museum.

Students from schools and colleges attended, bringing along their projects and showcasing their work on Climate Justice and how passionate they are about our planet.

Ireland Wood Primary School pupils attended and brought along the amazing work they’ve been doing on bees! They’ve been learning why bees are so important, and explained to us why bees are essential pollinators that transfer pollen between flowers, enabling fertilization, seed production, and the growth of many crops and wild plants. They had made an art exhibition of happy bees and sad bees, to communicate the message that bees are so important to us all.

Other schools had made exhibitions including football shirts (explaining how the World Cup needs to be sustainable) poems and models! It was an amazing event and very informative – thank you to Ireland Wood Primary for sharing your knowledge about bees with us!
