Last weekend, the amazingly talented Garden Recovery team cut back the path/ginnel which runs from Moor Road through to Moor Park Mount and the Donkey Steps that lead down to the Hollins and Meanwood Park.
The path has been overgrown for a long time, and the team were quick to volunteer to clear it, so its now accessible for trips to Meanwood Park throughout the summer holidays!
We are very grateful to all the team for their hard work - you can even pick wild blackberries on your walk now as the bushes are easily accessible walking down the path.
Now the path is clear, we're speaking with our highways department to install a sign on Moor Road, directing people towards the historical Donkey Steps using the path. We'll let you know when this is done!
Thank you again to the Garden Recovery team for all your hard work in clearing the path for everyone to use!
