Important Update - Storm Overflow Works, Spen Lane

This is an important update to Yorkshire Water’s Storm overflow works on Spen Lane. The project involves constructing a storage shaft adjacent to Spen Lane, which then requires connection to the existing sewer network. To facilitate these connections, there is a need to install a new sewer crossing under the road and construct new manhole chambers within Spen Lane

In order to carry out the works safely Spen Lane will be closed between Vesper Road to Ghyll Road from the 10th November to 11th December

Essential access to properties and emergency access will be maintained at all times.
