Grit Bins Refilled for Winter

Although Summer seems to be giving a last blast, it won’t be long before the Winter nights are drawing in and thoughts turn to stormier and icier weather.

We are planning ahead this year, and have recently approved funding through the Community Committee to ensure grit bins in Weetwood are refilled. We know how important the grit bins are to our local communities, and we never know how harsh a Winter we can expect but at least we know that we are prepared!
